Kathleen Gallagher

Kathleen was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She completed her undergraduate degree in business administration at University of Oregon in two years. Kathleen moved to Las Vegas to attend UNLV Boyd School of Law. Top of her class, she built a reputation from being hard working and tenacious. She earned her law degree while working full time. As such, she is uniquely positioned to understand the financial stress her clients face and gives 150% of herself when she takes a case.

From a young age, Kathleen wanted to be a prosecutor. She wanted to help keep our community safe by holding wrongdoers accountable. During law school she interned at the United States Attorney’s Office, but found it was not the right fit. When she graduated law school, Kathleen opened a personal injury practice, Gallagher Law, which she also still maintains.

Kathleen has an extensive trial record with cases ranging from car crashes to assault, malpractice, premise liability and security fraud. She takes great satisfaction in making a difference in her clients’ lives. Her passion for her work can be seen in her outstanding client reviews.

Despite her success, Kathleen felt her impact was limited – she wanted to make a difference in more lives than she could reach as a personal injury lawyer.

During dinner with a classmate and friend, Jeremy Lipshutz, MD, Esq, Kathleen stumbled upon the False Claims Act and whistleblower cases. Kathleen immediately recognized the broader societal impact these cases have and the opportunity they give to touch a wider range of lives.

Kathleen knew this was her calling. She and Jeremy decided to combine their skills and create their own law firm representing whistleblowers, aiming to protect their community on a larger scale. Kathleen now finds herself exactly where she always wanted to be – making a substantial difference in the lives of many, defending the integrity of the community, and tirelessly fighting for justice.

When she is not fighting for justice, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Scott, mentoring, traveling, playing piano and studying chemistry.
